Steering Committee Elections

A nominating committee has been appointed to fill four positions on the Acadiana Central Office Steering Committee.  Nominations are now open until the COR meeting on March 18, 2018.  Elections will be held at the COR meeting to be held on April 15, 2018.  Newly elected members take office at the regular June COR meeting.  Positions to be filled include: Chairperson, Secretary, Activities and Website.  All positions require 2 years sobriety.  In addition the position of chairperson also requires that the candidate have previously served on the Steering Committee.

Persons desiring to nominate a candidate may communicate the individual’s name and contact info to their home group COR, or to Acadiana Central Office (337-991-0830 or centraloffice@aa-acadiana.org), which will provide them to the nominating committee.

The January issue of the Plug-in-Jug is now available here. The P-in-J is the monthly newsletter of the Acadiana Central Office, providing information on Office activities & AA events, personal stories and more about recovery in the Acadiana area.

Keep in mind that Central Office is now open on Saturdays. Current hours:
11:00 am-5:30 pm, Tue – Fri, and
9:00 am-3:30 pm on Saturday.
Closed on Monday.
